The Orthodox Faith

	This page has been set up for the purpose of defining various important doctrines that are essential to the Orthodox Christian Faith. The source of Orthodox Doctrine is the concern of the Orthodox Church to define and maintain the purity of Christian teaching. All Orthodox doctrines are based on the holy scriptures, and further developed by the early fathers and the local and ecumenical councils.
